Kedar Shetye is a Principal Technology Engineer and database professional with over 20 years of experience in enterprise database technologies. His expertise includes IBM Db2 LUW, PostgreSQL, CockroachDB, and Cassandra, with a focus on high availability, disaster recovery, performance tuning, and database modernization.
A returning IBM Champion since 2024, Kedar has presented at four IBM conferences since 2015 on topics including zero-outage maintenance, online migration to Db2 pureScale, HADR, and operational excellence for mission-critical database environments. He is passionate about sharing practical lessons learned and helping organizations build resilient, scalable, and highly available data platforms.
