About me
Shirley Xiao is a Software Developer working on Db2 for z/OS at IBM. She started her career at IBM working on Db2 Data Manager and now focuses on modernizing Db2 through automation, tooling, and DevOps practices. Her work includes building Db2 automation tools, integrating Db2 with IBM Cloud Pak, and developing Db2 Developer Extension for z/OS. Currently, she is involved in initiatives such as configuration-as-code, automated Db2 subsystem discovery and provisioning, and enabling modern development workflows in enterprise mainframe environments.
